Flat Ribbon – Returns and Exchange Policy

Digital Goods:

Due to the nature of digital products (including software and video games), we do not offer refunds or exchanges on any digital goods purchased through our website. All sales of digital goods are final. Please ensure that the digital product you are purchasing meets your requirements before completing your order.

Physical Goods:

For physical goods (such as computer accessories) purchased through our online shop, we offer returns or exchanges under the following conditions:

  • Timeframe: You may request a return or exchange within fourteen (14) business days from the date of purchase.
  • Condition of Goods: To be eligible for a return or exchange, the physical goods must be in their original, unopened, and unused condition, with all original packaging, tags, and accessories included. Items that have been opened, used, or are not in their original condition will not be accepted for return or exchange.
  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide a valid proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation email or receipt.

How to Request a Return or Exchange for Physical Goods:

  1. Contact Us: Please contact Flat Ribbon within the 14-business-day timeframe to initiate your return or exchange request. You can reach us via Contact Form, Phone Number or Email.
  2. Return Authorization: Once your request is approved, we will provide you with instructions on how to return the physical goods.
  3. Shipping the Item Back: You will be responsible for the cost of shipping the physical goods back to Flat Ribbon, unless the return is due to a defect in the product or an error on our part. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and ensuring the package is adequately insured, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.
  4. Inspection and Processing: Upon receiving the returned physical goods, we will inspect them to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria outlined above.
    • Refund: If your return is approved, we will process a refund to your original payment method within 7-10 business days of receiving the returned item. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable 1 unless the return is due to a defect or an error on our part.
    • Exchange: If you requested an exchange and the item is in stock, we will ship the replacement item to you within 3-5 business days of receiving the returned item. You may be responsible for any price differences between the original item and the exchanged item, as well as any additional shipping costs.

Exceptions:

  • This Returns and Exchange Policy applies only to physical goods purchased through our online shop.
  • This policy does not cover repair services. Please refer to your Repair Agreement for warranty information on repair services.
